Currently, the media is reporting on losses incurred by health insurance companies that have invested in real estate funds. BKK WIRTSCHAFT & FINANZEN (BKK W&F) has not invested in such risky investments. We are therefore not affected by these losses.
How We Handle Your Submissions
Premiums are the money paid by our insured members and their employers. These premiums fund your benefits, including our additional services that go beyond the statutory benefits package. That is why we invest these funds with deliberate caution: security takes priority over returns.
This is also required by law. According to Section 80 of Book IV of the Social Code (SGB IV), health insurance funds must invest their money in such a way that a loss appears to be impossible. In addition, the money must remain available and generate an appropriate return.
