The electronic patient record of the BKK W&F – ePA for short – is becoming increasingly comprehensive.
Two additional functions have been added with the latest update:
- Electronic prescriptions can now be viewed and redeemed via the app.
- The individual decision for or against organ donation can now be conveniently entered in a nationwide organ donation register via the app.
In contrast to redeeming the e-prescription via the electronic health card, prescriptions can be tracked and checked in the app as a history of current and previous prescriptions. Prescriptions can be redeemed in any pharmacy – (pre-)ordering medicines is therefore just as possible as obtaining them directly from the pharmacy. Entry in the central and organ donation register, which has been available online since March 18, 2024, is also much more convenient via the app thanks to the single sign-on link. All functions can also be used independently of each other.
