Mobilization & targeted manipulation

There are two main types of chiropractic treatment.
One is “mobilization”, which uses gentle techniques to restore natural joint movement. This involves gently mobilizing the joints to avoid triggering pain. Variant two is “targeted manipulation”. This causes the spine to “reset” and thus releases movement blockages. The patient perceives this as a cracking sound and at the same time feels a spontaneous reduction in pain in the previously affected area of the spine. If blockages or pain in the spine occur acutely, it is important to see a doctor as soon as possible. Experience has shown that pain disappears more quickly if the blockages are released immediately and in a targeted manner.
If carried out professionally, chiropractic treatment is painless and safe. It is important to exclude possible risk factors prior to treatment, especially in the case of changes to the cervical spine. If there are no contraindications, chiropractic therapy can relieve back pain and restore restricted joint mobility. Headaches and chronic muscular tension can also be successfully treated in this way.
The costs of the treatment will be covered by the BKK W&F if the therapy is carried out by a qualified contracted medical practice. This practice will bill us directly for the treatment using your electronic health card.
Qualified contracted medical practices have a license from the statutory health insurance, and are usually orthopedists with appropriate further training as chiropractors. The medical staff of our health telephone (0800 1 405541 30 090) will help you find qualified contracted medical practices in your area.
