If dental prostheses are required, insured persons receive a statutory fixed subsidy. This amounts to at least 60 percent of the so-called standard care. It covers the costs of a treatment that is defined as standard therapy for the existing diagnosis. Opting for higher-quality care is possible, but it does not increase the subsidy.

If regular preventive care can be proven over the last five completed calendar years, the fixed subsidy increases to 70 percent. If the last 10 years are proven without gaps (please explain any missing years due to the Corona pandemic), the subsidy increases to 75 percent.
