FPZ Osteoporosis – Prevention of Falls and Fractures

Over 12 weeks, you will receive a hybrid individual therapy program consisting of 24 face-to-face appointments at the FPZ Center and 24 therapy units of online home training. Before the therapy, an initial analysis is carried out at the therapy center, where your personal risk of falling is determined on the basis of special tests. Once you have completed your therapy program, a final analysis takes place in which the therapists determine the success of the therapy.

In addition to the therapy units, you will receive access to digital information for insured persons on the following topics: “Osteoporosis disease” (2 lessons), “Nutrition in osteoporosis” (10 lessons), “Pain ABC” (10 lessons) and “Behavioral change” (5 lessons).

After completing the 12 weeks of therapy, you will continue to have access to the online home training and digital insurance information for up to 6 months at no additional cost.

Do you have a confirmed osteoporosis diagnosis from a doctor, as well as osteoporosis-associated fractures or have at least a 30% fracture risk? Then you only need a doctor’s prescription for FPZ/DVGS osteoporosis therapy, which you can obtain from participating doctors. Yes, you will have to pay a maximum of 240.00 euros for the therapy. This co-payment is calculated from 10.00 euros per therapy unit carried out at the FPZ Center. All other costs for the therapy will be covered by your health insurance.
