The new BKK offer “Girls’ Consultation – M1” gives girls the opportunity to discuss personal questions about sexual development and especially about women’s health in confidence with a gynecologist.
Participation is voluntary and requires the signature of the participant and a parent with custody.
The participant first fills out a questionnaire. Based on the questionnaire, a detailed consultation with the gynecologist follows. The vaccination record is also checked for missing booster vaccinations, which can be administered immediately if desired. Finally, the participant receives important information about regular preventive services and a detailed explanation of how future gynecological examinations are carried out in order to allay any unfounded fears.
Very important: a physical examination on the gynecological chair is not part of the M1.
