- Care and support take place in your familiar environment, i.e., at home.
- Care is provided by a private individual, and no professional nursing service is involved.
Amount
The amount depends on your care level. Discover all other services matching your care level here.
| Care Level | Care Allowance (2025) |
| 2 | €347 |
| 3 | €599 |
| 4 | €800 |
| 5 | €990 |
How to Receive Care Allowance
A prerequisite is that you submit an application for the determination of care dependency and inform us that you wish to claim care allowance or convert your previous benefit to care allowance.
Consultation Visit
For care recipients who are cared for by a private individual and receive care allowance, a consultation visit by an outpatient nursing service is required at regular intervals. During such a consultation visit, the nursing service checks whether the quality of care is ensured. At the same time, you can receive advice on care topics. We contribute to the costs:
- Care levels 2 and 3: one consultation visit per calendar half-year, coverage of up to €23 per consultation visit
- Care levels 4 and 5: one consultation visit per quarter, coverage of up to €33 per consultation visit
