Frequently asked questions

A medical massage is based on pressure, traction or stroking movements. Targeted stimulation of the nerve endings is also intended to activate the body’s self-healing powers. Classic massages can provide relief for joint problems and various painful conditions. They also counteract signs of wear and tear on the intervertebral discs. Variations of classic massage include connective tissue massage and underwater pressure jet massage.

BKK W&F covers the costs of medically necessary treatment directly via the health card if the massage therapy has been prescribed by a contracted medical practice. You only pay the statutory co-payment.
