Regular dental care and oral hygiene help to maintain healthy teeth, and you should also take advantage of preventive dental check-ups and medical care for your teeth. This also has a positive effect on the costs incurred if dentures are required later on.

Frequently asked questions
Three early dental check-ups are offered for children to prevent dental, oral and jaw diseases. The first examination takes place at the age of three, the others at twelve-month intervals until the child is six years old. Group prophylaxis is also offered during kindergarten and school years.
From the age of six to 18, you should have a dental check-up once every six months (including fissure sealing of the back molars from the age of 6). The dentist will be happy to certify the examinations from the age of 12 in a special bonus booklet.
From the age of 18, an annual scaling is also available during the dental check-up.
