One access to all digital services
The GesundheitsID is the gateway to the digital world of healthcare services – throughout Germany. All statutory health insurance funds are obliged to offer their policyholders a digital identity (sometimes also called a GesundheitsID) for the secure use of digital services. This digital identity should enable insured persons to log in to all non-insurance-specific digital health applications in future, such as the e-prescription app, which is standardized for all health insurance companies.
BKK W&F offers the following services using the same digital identity:

The easy way to a digital identity
Just sign up in the BKK W&F OGS or BKK W&F ePA apps—that’s it!
- As soon as you have successfully registered and have also identified yourself securely using your health card or electronic ID card (each with a PIN), your digital identity has been created.
- The digital identity is only visible to the outside world and consists of an individual user name and a self-chosen password.
- For subsequent regular use, further security features (e.g. device binding) are defined as part of the registration process as part of authentication processes and, depending on the required security level, are regularly and automatically checked by the apps.
