Our health hotline is available day and night to answer your medical questions – including travel vaccinations – in detail and without time pressure. The health hotline is a round-the-clock information service for many general health issues.
Have you moved house and are looking for a new family doctor or specialist, whether at home or abroad? Do you need detailed advice on an illness or specific medication? Do you need an appointment with a midwife or specialist near you?
You can reach the medical staff of our cooperation partner Medical:Contact AG in Essen via the service number 0800 1 405541 30 090, free of charge from within Germany. The landline number from abroad is +49 561 51009 615.
Prerequisites
Please continue to have your health card ready at the start of a call, as this is an exclusive service for BKK W&F policyholders. The costs of the services are borne by BKK W&F, including domestic telephone charges.

Similar but different: Appointment service centers of the associations of statutory health insurance physicians
The Associations of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians also help patients to make an appointment with a specialist as quickly as possible on request.
After your call, the appointment service will offer you an appointment with a specialist within a week. The maximum waiting time between your call and your appointment is four weeks. This does not apply to minor illnesses and routine examinations.
If the appointment service cannot offer you an appointment with a specialist in private practice, it will arrange an outpatient treatment appointment at a hospital.
The appointment service is the responsibility of the respective Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians. There is therefore no nationally valid telephone number. You can find an overview of the regional telephone numbers here:

Prerequisites
The prerequisite here is that you have already received a referral from your family doctor. A referral is only required for appointments with an ophthalmologist or gynecologist.
Important
The appointment service does not arrange an appointment with a specific doctor. You will be given an appointment with a doctor within a reasonable distance who has free appointments during the relevant period.
The appointment service only arranges appointments with specialists, not with psychotherapists, dentists or orthodontists. General practitioners and pediatricians are also exempt.
