Most people have headaches from time to time, but carers suffer from them particularly often. Nursing staff care for and look after people at various stages of their lives, which is why it is all the more important to take preventative measures to counteract headaches. The “Care without headaches” campaign has been promoting headache prevention among professional carers since 2019 and will also be supported by BKK W&F from 2021.
We are committed to the region, which is why we also support institutions from northern Hesse.

The Zentrum für Forschung und Diagnostik bei Implantaten, Entzündungen und Schmerzen (ZIES) gemeinnützige GmbH (Center for Research and Diagnostics for Implants, Inflammation and Pain) is running the “Care without Headaches” campaign to prevent headaches in hospitals, inpatient care facilities and educational institutions for healthcare professions. The facilities participating in the campaign receive comprehensive advice and support on the subject of headaches. Digital media are used to support the individual prevention measures, which also makes implementation practicable in the current climate. Evaluations that have already been carried out have shown that the campaign’s measures are demonstrably effective.
