The project partners are committed to the uncomplicated promotion of projects in the prevention areas of exercise, nutrition, relaxation and addiction at a local level. The project supports ideologically neutral, non-profit and independent organizations in the Kassel region, for example districts and communities with a particular need for action for expectant or young families, single parents, children, young people, older or unemployed people.
KaFöG thus promotes the development of structure-building, health-promoting micro-projects in neighborhoods in the city and district of Kassel. Small micro-projects in particular are intended to reach especially socially disadvantaged groups in their living environments. The project is coordinated by the Kassel Region Health Department and the participating health insurance companies form the steering committee.
